6/5/23 Paris, France

The place was packed. I didn’t think they’d get us on the train in time for departure but they were only about 15 minutes late. It turns out that not only was the 11:31 train sold out but every train that day was sold out!

Had to drive through the red light district to get to Le Méridien.

Then we had to pass the Arc De Triomphe and so Nick wanted to do one loop around!

After much deliberation by the management team – we got a suite as our upgrade.

We always go to Brassiere Victor Hugo. He wrote ‘Les Misérables’ and ‘The Hunchback of Notre-Dame’. His brassiere is one of our favorites! They had Nicks oysters from Fine de Claire. I got pasta with mushrooms. We really enjoyed the waitress.

Macaroni Aix Morelli

Driving home was a bit easier.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
