11/12/22 – Munich Germany

Our trip to the castle Neuschwanstein in Füssen, Germany. Füssen is an adorable small town with several cute hotels and not enough pubs!

Built atop a rock ledge over the Pöllat Gorge in the Bavarian Alps – Neuschwanstein was built by King Louis II (Mad King Ludwig).
This is the entrance to the castle. We got there right when all the tickets were sold out.
There was some preparations for the Christmas Markets.

Dinner was back in Munich at an Italian place the Terry was happy about!!! Terry speaks fluent German but is not a fan of German food!

Then a quick trip to the wine store which had a lot of gin! Apparently, gin is making a comeback in Germany.
