11/11/22 – Munich, Germany

Our first morning Munich. We decided to drive to Saltzburg. Nick wanted to show me the home of Mozart and where “the hills are alive with music”

This boat was was on a narrow river and we went under it!

The drive from Munich to Saltzburg was very scenic! We stopped at an oasis for some coffee and water and the mountains in the background were beautiful! Nick really enjoyed driving the Autobahn as there were no speed limits!

Terry found a great pub to grab lunch!

We immediately found the statue of Mozart! The square where it resides is Plaza de Mozart was filled with life! People, kids and a serious giant chess set tournament!

It’s right near where you pick up the funicular to go to Hohensalzburg Fortress.

We didn’t pay for a tour but you really don’t need to. We enjoyed discovering the castle on our own!

When we got back from Salzburg, we met up with friends from Tampa at the Haufbrauhaus. It was designated as the Bucs HQ in Munich and we truly had a blast with these crazies

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
