Day 1 – 6/4/22 – Augusta, GA – Summer Road-trip

A 7 hour 15 min drive from Tampa to Augusta. Nick drove first. Pretty smooth getting out of Tampa.

I love the ranches that line the highway in Florida
Gotta love going through Waldo Florida.

Below a sign reminding us we were about to leave beautiful Florida!

And then the sign welcoming us to the Peach of a state – Georgia!!!

Jack and Kelly met us for cocktails at the hotel bar. Then it was on to dinner at Salt and Marrow which had an outside but not a rooftop outside. So afterwards we went to the Jackson’s Bluff rooftop for drinks. Kellys first sip of Disserona! The baseball field that was right next door gave us a wonderful fireworks display!

As we left I had to do the elevator selfie! It was a really nice visit!
