Day 130 @ Bay Harbor Lake, Petoskey, Michigan – Great Loop Boat Trip

There were so many things to do today but we chose to just run errands and work on the boat. The weather was beautiful and begged for kids to play outside! We had the rental car and wanted to utilize it to its fullest. The grocery store was a welcome sight! Fresh fruit and vegetables never looked so good! Looking around the grocery store and finding what we needed and also what new items I wanted to try! Once I returned Nick headed to West Marine to change out the plug for the dinghy as it was the wrong size.

While he did that I cleaned up the boat and set the pot roast in the insta pot. When he got back we both went to admire the Belize 52 that pulled up a few slips down from us. We had such a great time talking with Captain Dave from that boat I invited them for Docktails on the Aquasition.

Turns out they live in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin during the summer and Ft Lauderdale, Florida in the winter. So we made a plan to visit them in a couple weeks in Wisconsin! Then again this coming winter in Florida! Such fun and interesting people we’ve made as friends on this trip.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
