Good morning to another beautiful morning in VT! We had to return the rental car and organize some areas but then we were ready to head to Rouse’s Point, NY. But Mother Nature had her own ideas. We waited for two thunderstorms to pass and headed out late in the afternoon.

Waving good bye to our beloved new friends at Burlington Harbor Marina was tough but we had to make it to Rouses Point so that our friends Terry and Racquel could get on the boat from the Plattsburgh Airport. Made it! But we were about 15 minutes later than 5pm so we dock alone!

As we waited a gorgeous Beneteau Swift Trawler pulled up! They had a home port of The Woodlands TX! They were a big boat – 50ft – so we both jumped up to help them as we knew no one would be there to help them. They were so nice they invited on board for a tour and we made fast friends! Jim and Louise. He works for Pratt & Whitney and she was from Montreal. Both were super nice and interesting! Then Terry and Racquel arrived!!!

We watched the sunset, ate some pizza and drank great wine! Poutine was enjoyed by Terry and Racquel for the first time!

Great day! Only 2 miles from customs so tomorrow should be fun!
