Day twenty one @ Harbour Ridge Yacht & CC, Palm City, FL

Well not all our days can be exciting. Yesterday Jeff figures out the bilge pump was not functioning. There are three bilge pumps on this boat and the mid ship one seemed non reactive. Around 11:30 today a marine electrical technician showed up. He worked pretty hard to find things first and once he did he discovered that the sump pump that assists in the shower drainage was interfering with the bilge. He was able to repair the sump pump but the bilge needed to be replaced. So… 3.5 hours later he was done. During all this Jeff’s Aunt drove up from Jupiter for lunch and a visit so they were pretty busy too. We then took the car in to the Treasure Coast Mall to get a few items for the boat. I needed a basket and I also found this cool rug.

We also found BOW (Boat Owners Warehouse). It was awesome! Like an old time hardware store – stuff everywhere and people that wanted to help! We got a few items we needed and also got Jeff his chamois stick. So look for more “car wash” videos in the future! Then as I was exiting I saw a wall of boating help!

Just awesome! They had everything from mechanics to Captains to cleaners! By the time we got back it was time for me to create a delicious meal for my Captain.

Good Friday today – so no meat. No where to go in the rain. Just relaxed and watched some play off hockey. Toronto beat Boston to be up 3-2 in their series.

No cocktails tonight.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
