Day fourteen @ Abacos Beach Marina, Abacos, Bahamas

The day was another action packed day of fun and adventure! We headed over to the ferry near Mangos to hop on the ferry to Great Guana Cay. With Christine and Peedo now in the group we are getting the best travel guides as they have done this several times.

Ok… we made it to the island (after a quick stop at Scotland Cay – a private island) now to find the famous Nippers Bar (with a restaurant). And a pool, and a beach…. Lol

En route we were distracted by this sign.

After we all walked around the building – we found the door. Boys got their cigars and I got a new hat! Then we caught a big golf cart for a ride to Nippers.

The view was amazing and the decor was bright and colorful! We enjoyed having lunch while watching the water. Then we went down to check out the beach!Try the Nippers self named cocktail, it has 4 types of rum in it. Be aware you may get brain freeze.

The water was so blue and turquoise! But the beach was just too sandy for us… so we went back to Nippers to dip in the pool there.

Peedo got this cool shirt.

So then Nick got one too. Here are some of the views we enjoyed today.

Then the ferry dropped us off near Mangos and we heard the Marx’s and Golby’s were there. So we hit em up! Luckily the bar had the Masters tournament on and we all cheered our favorites while sipping Margaritas.

Dinner was salmon and veggies on the boat. Then a big fishing tournament came into the marina and Christine and Jeff went over to see – they both came back with huge bags of free Mahi Mahi!!! Yum Yum!!!

Moving tomorrow to Green Turtle Cay.

Bolts game 2 against Blue Jackets tonight. Go Bolts!!!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
