Day twelve @ Chub Cay Marina Berry Islands, The Bahamas

Boat hair don’t care was today’s theme. Lol

It started out as a rainy day so we did some boat maintenance and lots of cleaning. Also completed all the laundry!

But before anything we started our day with yoga – utilizing the new yoga mats bought in Miami Beach.

Stopped by the gift shop here at Chub Cay.

We took a break in our day to discover some of the island. Using our electric scooters we found a cute little church. The first photo is my attempt with the selfie stick.

These two photos are so similar it’s like when the eye doctor covers one eye and has you look at the line of letters then he covers the other eye and asks the same thing to read the numbers …. same result! Practically!

The turn at the church was onto a dirt road with lots of sand and rocks. It never actually got better.

Then we saw a wild turkey or quail or something.

The flowers were gorgeous!

Then we headed back to the boat.

As we were on our merry way I heard a problem with my tire. It was the fender on the front tire. It had come loose and was rattling. No way was I making it back like that so we had to suspend it somehow because we couldn’t repair it and we couldn’t remove it. Here is the answer.

Here’s a shot of Nick fixing the electric scooter that broke on the dirt road. Nick removed the front tire and was able to get the fender back on properly then putting the front tire back on was a challenge but he got it wires and all!

Now for dinner…. Does Michelle have soup spoons like this? I do, because I borrowed them from the restaurant last night. Not my fault – they gave them to me and Nick and we didn’t order soup.
