We had to get from Cardif, Wales to London Heathrow Car Rental Return and then get an Uber to take us to the St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel.

Cows on a hill. Who knew they had such good balance. We had to stop just outside of London to fill the tank and grab coffee and food. I also saw some books I wanted but I didn’t buy them.

If you look closely you’ll see the « do not enter » red circle with a line through – on the glass door. It says to fire exit keep door closed. Oxymoron?
Finally we arrive! St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel opened in 2011, and occupies much of the former Midland Grand Hotel designed by George Gilbert Scott opened in 1873 and closed in 1935. Rick Scott calls it one of the most romantic hotels in all Europe.

The Chamber Club is spectacular and allows us to eat and drink so we don’t have to go out.

Our room was very spacious and beautiful!

This man has missed his train.

Walking around I found the coolest things in the bookstore!
