11/17/22 – Innsbruck, Austria

So we found a food and wine tour and signed up! The meeting spot was at a large grocery store across town. We took the train most of the way there then walked. This church was on the way and it was so pretty!

More adorable decorations for the Christmas markets!!!

We waited in the park outside the market. Once we found our tour guide we were excited to find out we are the only ones on his tour. He took us inside and showed us around. We immediately got a nice cheese and wine introduction on the second floor.

Second stop gave us bread and wine!

The third stop was a cool cave-like room that had walls from the 13th century.
This is an echo arch. Nick was whispering and I could hear him perfectly!

What a wonderful ending to a fantastic food and wine journey through Innsbruck!

Then we decided to take a bus to the top of the mountain. Great idea – just FYI – it was waaaaaay colder up there!

Stadtrichter Zeller Haus

It was extremely cold so we popped into a closed restaurant and begged them for some tea in order to warm up. They were very kind and helpful.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
