7/26/22 – Traverse City, Michigan

It was a beautiful morning on the patio. John and Davia made breakfast with their homemade salsa on the side. We relaxed all morning on the back patio then headed out with John as our leader through the Sleeping Bear Dunes! John’s family lives in the area and he’s very familiar!

First stop was Fishtown for some tourist photos and shopping.

Once we got back to Traverse City – everyone wanted to hit a bar but Dave and I needed some coffee. We went around the corner for an ice coffee and headed to the bar. The coffee shop was in the famous Opera House building.

Friends I met in the bar elevator.

Then it was time for the outdoor play.

The play was a gender fluid format of Caboret. Not what any of us expected. At the half I asked if anyone wanted to ditch the second half and go to a craft beer place. Everyone said yes! John once again led the group to a really neat craft beer place that was enclosed with food trucks. We all got something to eat and enjoyed the rest of the night!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
