7/23/22 – Traverse City, Michigan

This is the view from the breakfast table.

Not bad! Long lake in the background and coffee to wake me! I did make my egg in a hole for Linda and Fadi.

Then we were off to see the Mission Point lighthouse. Next to the lighthouse is an old log cabin home that was save and moved near the lighthouse for the museum. It’s pretty neat! I can’t believe people survived in there for the winter!

There is a beautiful untouched beach right behind the log cabin and the lighthouse.

Then we met up with Ulrike and Glen. We hit a few of Mission Points beautiful and scenic wineries and vineyards. We also went to the lavender fields!

We got a quick education on Petosky stones.

Then we were invited to Glen & Ulrike’s place on the water. They have a fabulous spot with really friendly neighbors! Glen made pizza on the grill and it was delicious!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
