Day 17 – 6/20/22 – TownePlace Suites Bourbon Trail, Louisville, KY – Summer Road-trip

What a day! First we got up and packed up. It was check out day but we had Angels Envy scheduled before we hit the airport.

The car was packed!!!

This was in downtown Louisville!

The Angels Envy family tree. Now it’s run by the family but owned by the Bacardi family!
This was made like this by the manufacturer not a request by Angels Envy! Just beautiful!
This was a beautiful still and very clean!

Ya gotta love the quotes that they paint on the wall!!!

Smile Nick. That’s a lot of moonshine behind you!

They only make two bourbons so there were only two to taste. But it was a wonderful thing to have chocolates to pair them with!

A fancy tasting room!

Afterwards we hit the Starbucks because we had a drive to the airport.

The blenders were named and ironically it was my Moms name and the start of my maidens name! Miss you Mom!
On the road again.
A short drive to the Cincinnati Airport!

Now we will be at home for a while and the car and all our stuff will wait for us at the CVG airport.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
