Day 9 – 6/12/22 – Birmingham, MI – Summer Road-trip

With all the great weather we decided to golf again today! We got a spot on the South course with Jerry and Bruce joining us!

The clubhouse is so sad!
In this photo you can see the temporary white structure that they are building for the new dining hall.

I was playing really well today! I got a birdie on 16! The monster hole – the signature hole of Oakland Hills. I had a decent drive then my second shot ended up in the bunker on the right of the green. I asked Nick to get on the other side of the hole and be my goalie. I just didn’t want to lose a ball in the water because if I over shot this sand shot it would end up in the water. Instead I got it out of the sand just slightly and it rolled in the hole for me!!! Great day on the course. After that we cleaned up and had dinner at Jerry & Roses house.
