Day 5 – 6/8/22 – Birmingham, MI – Summer Road-trip

Today was a day to relax and do some shopping. We had a few errands to run but then Nick wanted to go to Carl’s Golfland to find a jacket. After all the running around we went home for a nap and to just relax. I got a chance to read my book and it rained for a while.

We made reservations at Pine Lake CC for dinner. Oakland Hills has an open reciprocal for dinning. Coincidentally, we ran into David And Jeff – Nicks two pals that are members there.

Before we sat at our table we hung out at the bar for a bit and talked up the bartender.

When we got home we played a little gin. I was winning the whole time and Nick pulled up from behind to win games 2 and 3. Not sure how he did it.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
