Early wake up call for a 7 AM departure! On our early morning departure Vince pointed out a group of about 5 dolphins trapping fish against the sea wall. It was so cool! We even saw a dolphin with a fish in his jaws!
It was a really smooth ride all the way!
We decided to stop for lunch at Shore. It’s a new restaurant next to our old favorite spot Mar Vista. Everything is so new and modern at Shore!
Shore has a lovely gift shop! One last chance to grab some fun stuff!
Once we arrived at the Marriott we had about 10 minutes to wait for the tide to get somewhat lower – otherwise we don’t fit under the bridge. Well, during our holding pattern near the convention center we lost the port engine. It was on but not responding. Captain Nick was able to dock the boat at the end of the dock instead of our slip. It was tough but with Fadi and Mark on the dock they were able to pull us in once we got close.
