Day 23 – 5/17/22 – Stock Island Marina Village, Stock Island, Key West, FL

So last night after our guests were off on their plane. We had more leftover tacos made from leftovers and stuff. I probably over ate or something because all day today I was feeling sluggish. I tried everything to get going but it was a struggle! Luckily this was the day the mechanics arrived at 9:30 am! somehow I was able to get the laundry done and clean up.

We wanted to head to Marco Island on Thursday but I turns out the 4 year maintenance will take more than 1 day. It takes about 3 days. They actually took parts of our engines back to their worksite to clean and repair! They are hoping to be done Friday. Such is the life of a boater. I will somehow make the best of it in Key West!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
