Day 10 – 5/4/22 – Stock Island Marina Village, Stock Island, Key West, FL

Heading out from SouthSeas we were a little concerned with the entryway. It’s very shallow and we have stirred up dirt and sand in that area. So Dave kept a close eye on things!

We will miss you SouthSeas!!!

The crossing is never to be done lightly.

Respect the sea! We hardly saw anything. Three shrimp boats and two yachts. It was peaceful!

We were arriving just under the gun to get the golf cart from the rental guy. So Dave jumped off the boat and ran up to meet him. Not sure how he procured this one with the huge speakers and Key West paint!

We headed straight to the pool! Found out it was happy hour and enjoyed some adult beverages!!! Kelly loved the roosters that roam the pool area looking for scraps of food.

On our way back to the boat we found our next boat!!!

Then we cleaned up and headed to Duval Street!

First stop – a favorite of mine!!!

FAT TUESDAY!!!

We have to hit all the famous spots. So next up was Irish Kevins the Sloppy Joes!!

I noticed this painting right above Dave’s head and had to try and get a good picture. He posed nicely!

And in fabulous Nick and Teri fashion! We spotted a bride and groom and had to get the famous “selfie with the Bride”!!! She was game but she asked for a pick to include her hubby. I guess they had a Star Wars wedding.

Time to get back to the Aquasition for some shut eye so we can get up tomorrow for some more fun!
