Day 11 – 5/5/22 – Stock Island Marina Village, Stock Island, Key West, FL

Exploring the entire Key West isn’t really our goal today. We took the golf cart to some cute shops and Nick found a Veterans bar to amuse himself then we headed back to enjoy the pool area and do some day drinking! But first Dave took over the kitchen and made us all breakfast! Dave wanted to learn the art of egg in a hole. He did the first two really great but the third one had to be square because he cracked the egg before he cut the hole.

I did some laundry and found this interesting sign. How can a person take less than one machine?

Stopped at my favorite! Island Dog Cafe for a hot dog!

As we sat at the pool, Nick contacted the only Cummings mechanic on the island and he was about 3 weeks out from getting to our boat so we made the executive decision to stay. I had checked the rates and they are significantly cheaper if you book the month.

This is Nick after he decided to stay the month!

Kelly found this little guy on the docks.

Time to get ready for dinner and drinks on Duval! Kelly found an amazing restaurant called Milagro. The parking was challenging but Dave did it like a pro!

After a fabulous dinner we headed to Duval to see what was going on! We shared our music with anyone interested.

What is this? A very large Flamingo spotted on Duval dancing to our music!!!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
