Nice, France – Le Méridien Hotel. 9/7/2021
Our last full day in Nice! This is one of the best hotel rooms ever! Views and balconies are what I live for and this one is spectacular!
The photos I took of Nick on the patio were from the huge bathroom!
We decided to take a walk around old town and find some lunch and maybe other small treasures. Nick pointed out the French answer to Macy’s.
So I went inside “Macy’s” or Galeries Lafayette.
Outside I found Nick at an amazing little spot for lunch.
Guess what Nick chose for his last lunch?
The walking and people watching were very special!
Nick wanted to go into the grocery store to see if he could find tonic.
It was a great day just doing nothing and enjoying Nice! And we enjoyed just being alone and looking after each other.
The truth was that we had everything we wanted in the room. Everything we needed to make the lemoncello spritzer some wine and some cashews and a spectacular view. Just hanging out together was all we really wanted.
Soon it was time to freshen up and head to dinner. Nick let me pick the place. So I liked this place since the name is so pretty!
The spot was magical! I think we have a system. I pick the restaurant and Nick orders the food.
