Day 232 @ The Moorings at Carrabelle, Carrabelle, FL – The Great Loop Boat Trip

11/16/19

Well we moved into a slip with electricity and water hook ups. It was a tight squeeze and the dock is shaky but we are cozy! We are trying to wrap up and organize for the coming home event.

Nick was very proud that he found and put the cover on the dinghy.

The marina office is open 24 hours!

We hit the IGA! They had wine. IGA is an acronym for Independent Grocer Association.

We had some sausage on the grill for lunch. I forced Nick into sauerkraut on his!

Dinner was at the Fisherman’s Wife Restaurant. The woman who delivered our booze gave us a recommendation of this little spot. It was less than a block from our boat and it turned out to be the best Flounder dinner I’ve ever had! The fish was perfectly cooked!

Flounder with sweet potato fries and corn fritters. Everything was home made!

Not even sure what was in the Derby Pie but it was worth the calories!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
