Day 222 @ Sandestin Baytowne Marina, Miramar Beach, Florida – The Great Loop

11/6/19

We woke up and rallied to get the boat moving again. Ron really helped us and took care of us! I can’t say enough about Ron the Dockmaster here. He checked on our boat constantly and fixed lines and changed up fenders. It was in good hands! We will come back again and again! Just to see Ron and eventually see more of Pensacola! Thank you Ron!

This was the 120 foot Azimut that was docked near us.

On the ICW we came across this gem. What is it? Water tower or cell tower or something else?

Then the sinking boat. It wasn’t actively sinking – well we weren’t positive of that.

Then we pass lots of very new marinas and tons of lagoons and small islands to play on!

Beautiful beach dunes!

Arrived at our destination.

We had a great visit with Tierney. She bought this awesome cake for Nicks birthday. It was such a nice thing to do especially since I haven’t been myself since Mom fell ill.

Quote of the day

I miss Mom.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
