Day 206 @ Kingfisher Bay Marina, Demopolis, Alabama – The Great Loop Boat Trip

10/21/19

Up early to catch the 10am free shuttle! We got to hang out with this crazy crew!

The Driver asked if anyone wanted the Main Street of Demopolis. We decided to hop off and see what was there. Found this adorable gift shop.

The men stayed outside.

But although the town was adorable- there were very few shops. And unfortunately all the museums were closed on Monday.

A beautiful monument to the Confederate Soldiers.

Doors are a favorite of mine to photograph. I can usually find an interesting looking one. The impression of an inviting door or a closed and rejecting feel is always interesting to me.

Then we headed out to I-80 for the groceries. We opted for the local store instead of Walmart.

Quote of the day: Hey, do we need mustard. No – Frank will get that. (Frank is a friend that can pull condiments out of his shorts).

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
