Day 200 @ Aqua Yacht Harbor Marina, IUKA, Mississippi – The Great Loop Boat Trip

10/15/19

It was great to get to know our good friends Milton and Julie better! Sad to say farewell but looking forward to seeing them again soon! The drive back to our boat was very scenic! We took the route through Tennessee so we missed going through Decatur and seeing the bridge named after Julies great grandfather – Steamboat Captain!

As we drove through the middle of this tiny town I spotted a coffee shop! Too adorable!!! I made Nick stop! Always love to support small business.

The whole town was cute! Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to live in a small town in a rural area. I think kids would be more grounded.

Meanwhile… back at the Yacht Club.

We had to head to Corinth to return the rental car. We got the Marina courtesy car and headed over. I took the route through town and got stopped by the very famous railroad trains.

As I sat waiting I noticed more historical markers.

Returned the car.

Leftovers for dinner.

Ready to head out tomorrow!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
