Good Morning 4AM!!!! Yikes!
Let’s not do this again! Well we did it – we got up early and we made it to the airport in time. The Southwest flight was pretty full but we were able to have a seat open next to us which is a huge thing! We slept a bit and when we landed in Midway we jumped off and Nick headed to his flight to Detroit and I headed to rent a car. Then off to see Mom!
Got all her favorites! I really stocked her up! She was low on everything!
Just could not help myself! Target had these great hats!
This is Moms old owl decoration and I had bought a cute string of lights – I didn’t think of it but Mindy O showed up and decided to put the lights in the owl and it looks so cool!
Mom was really sitting in a dusty place and the carpet needed vacuuming. So I spent my time changing things and refreshing things. She wanted to clear out the windowsill and only have a photo of her and Dad.
Stocked
She was loving the Halloween stuff so she shared a goofy moment with her favorite nurse! This young lady has the patience of a Saint!
The apartment really looked transformed! Clean and dust free! And ready for the fall! Even Mackenzie the nurse loved the change! 
Then I was lucky enough to rally the boys and their women for a nice dinner at Bellagios.
We all watched a guy stumble out and knock this over. Luckily he got into a cab. 
Meanwhile in Detroit: Nick was attending his ATKearney alumni function. Here is a photo of Nick and his old friends. 
Cool part was – apparently someone had several old photos to share. Can you find Nick?
Afterwards Nick went to Oakland Hills for dinner and cigars. He ran into Joesph. 
Joseph takes his wine pretty seriously and he ordered a 32 year old Pomerol from Bordeaux 
A great time was had by all!
