Friday the 13th!!!

And a Happy Surprise Birthday to Kathy Marx!!!! So we got word that a fabulous lady was celebrating her 60th! Could not believe that because she looks 35!!! Nick and I hopped on a SWA flight via Midway and landed in Minneapolis at 4pm. And as soon as we got to Midway I had a drink at my very favorite stop.

Once we got on the plane I pulled out my book and got comfortable! And Nick hooked up his Surface and watched TV.

Here’s the W!!! We stayed at the hotel that the party was being held at – The W Forshey.

We got bumped up to a suite on the top floor. Only one floor above the party – which made it easy to go up to the room and back to the party! First couple that was onto us was T and Bobby! I want her hair! They are so fun!

Mannys was in the lobby of the W! But the food at the party was spectacular!!!

This was the very best!!! The pre party was a riot with lots of friends very surprised we made it! But when you have a friend like Kathy Marx you find a way to make it! Both Kathy and Rick are such wonderful and welcoming people!

Too many people of which I wanted to chat! Loved seeing all these wonderful friends! As I looked around, it was obvious so many people love this woman – Kathy! But I said to Diana – there are so many of Kathy’s best or very close friends! It really fascinated me how many “best friends” she really has! She’s touched so many people and of very diverse people!

And even more friends of Kathy!

Pictured here is Dane and Jeff of the famed Italiano Insurance Agency! They insure the Aquasition! When we heard from a Florida looper that they get a discount because their boat is not in Florida for Hurricane season we called our agent that the boat broker recommended. They said no discount. We called Jeff’s team and got a $2k discount! Love that Italiano Insurance!!!
