Good Morning! I got up and walked around town to try and find a breakfast sandwich but to no avail! Nick went and returned the car. Once we got back we just decided to shove off early!

The crew at the fuel docks were so nice! We gave them the chapstick trick then we offered them the chapstick.
Goodbye beautiful Port Washington!

The ride on Lake Michigan was very quiet and relaxing. For the first portion we had several logs in the water to avoid. Then it was smooth seas.
Got to wave to Milwaukee! Great place!!!

We were surprised at the color of the water!

Sweet home Chicago!
Pulling into Chicago harbor was challenging because the water levels are so high that the breakwaters are mostly submerged.

Then getting the boat docked was a challenge. Nick lost his rudder indicator – without this it makes it difficult to know how the joystick will move the boat.

We used our reciprocal at Chicago Yacht Club and it’s fabulous!!! The people are awesome! The location is perfect! And the security it better than anything we’ve seen!

So we got a few bikes and headed around the lakeshore bike path.

Rode up to Oak Street Beach and Ohio Street Beach and both were basically gone from the high water levels. Then we took the bikes to our favorite rooftop bar!Rock Bottom in Streeterviille!

Now here is real love for me. Nick took me to a Thai restaurant!

Afterwards a homeless man wanted some money for food and instead we gave him our leftovers. Then it was back to the CYC bar for some cocktails with Joel!

It was an interesting place!

Here is what the ladies room looks like. Because I am sure you were wondering.

We closed down the bar at CYC and had a blast with Joel. Such a fun day!
Song of the day: Sweet Home Chicago!
