Day 149 @ Port Washington Marina, Port Washington, Wisconsin – Great Loop Boat Trip

Today was 8/25/19. We headed over to the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee as soon as we finished up a few things on the boat. First we got lunch and met up with friends of friends. It was a great time getting to know more new people! Then we hit the museum! The company was founded in Milwaukee in 1903 and in 1915 the founders decided to pull one bike from each line in order to save and preserve it for history. They are the only company that had the foresight to do this! Here is the result.

This vehicle was awesome!

This is one of the first side valve engines. Built in 1935 it was the model R.

This one was very cool!

Harley-Davidson is a truly great story!

It is really amazing the role that Harley-Davidson motorcycles played in this country! And here is where they are built… majority of them are still built in Milwaukee but also.

Also this was fun.

Not gonna lie – this was my favorite!

Interesting!

We were like kids!

Afterwards we drove around Milwaukee to McKinley Park and around by Summerfest and the Art Museum. Then we headed to the boat to meet up with Al. Al is an old friend from Lincoln Way HS! Great guy! He has a great memory too!

Here is me trying to do a timed photo.

Got it!

Great day! Thanks for coming by the Aquasition Al!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
