Day 147 @ Port Washington Marina, Port Washington, Wisconsin – The Great Loop Boat Trip

Waking up near Milwaukee!!!! After some coffee 3 of us walked to the Wisconsin Maritime Museum.

This video was one of the first exhibitions and it was really great! Nick showed up shortly after this. He used the electric scooters to get to the museum.

This looked exactly like the structures in Sturgeon Bay!

So much history here! Instead of Port Washington this place might have been Clipper City!

Now we have GPS and Garmin!

I want that ship!

Then came the much anticipated USS Cobia submarine guided tour!

And here is the bell…. no! We are all discussing the big guns.

There was a letter saved from when the submarine was in use.

It was pretty neat! This is where the torpedos go to be launched.

Single file – people!

Near the exit was a very old canoe.

Soon we were on our way leaving Manitowoc and looking for Port Washington!

We all went by dinghy to check in at the office.

Fun day! Cute town! We regrouped and went to dinner at the Twisted Willow.

And then some more drinks…

This is the ceiling.

Another great night!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
