Day 134 @ Frankfort Municipal Marina, Frankfort, Michigan – Great Loop Boat Trip

Got up early to hit this fantastic farmers market right next to the docks!

It was crowded but filled with so many local farmers and fresh eggs, honey and tons more! I even saw emu meat!

We bought some produce and I had to support the local artists!

Here’s the local art I bought.

Such a great market! Next we met Deb and Frank for breakfast at Birch & Maple. Here is the delicious Chicken’n Waffles! Never had better! The syrup was really amazing! And the breading on the chicken was incredible!

Nick got a Bloody Mary with his breakfast.

It’s definitely a well stocked bar!

There are all these beautifully dedicated park benches facing the docks and the water so I grabbed one for my afternoon and relaxed with a book. Here is my view.

Soon it was time to drop off the rental car. We coordinated to borrow a Kerrigan car and also pick up Megan & Alex because they had a rental too. Had to get to the Traverse City Airport.

On the way to Kerrigans we found out that Megan grew up in Brussels and Alex was an NFL player. Very interesting couple! They got their 47 ft Searay last March and have really been enjoying it! They are headed to Cincinnati with it tomorrow! But first they joined us for another fabulous night at Kerrigan North! Que the sunset!

Next up – another great meal from Deb!

Quote of the day: She wasn’t that great, otherwise you’d still be married to her.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
