It was busy day for us. We woke up to a beautiful morning. Watching several of the boats leave for Gross Point YC was sad but fun. Then we organized and got the rental car. It was an adventure talking with the Enterprise driver. He felt the need to review the school schedule (public and private) along with expected traffic patterns and seasonal retail stores / restaurants in the area! Nick wasn’t impressed with his knowledge. Got the car despite the useless banter and headed straight toward West Marine. We needed at least 2 more 12 inch fenders and some longer lines for tieing off. Afterwards we were planning to head to lunch when Jerry Burke called. We met up with Jerry and Rose at Duffy’s Garage and Grill in Petoskey. It’s a great spot and the outdoor patio had a great view of Lake Michigan. 
Then we took that party to the Aquasition! This is the third time we’ve seen the Burke’s on this trip so that makes them the most visited friends! Marco Island FL, Oakland Hills CC MI and now Petoskey MI. Where next?
We only had a few minutes to chill when Jim and MaryBeth Morabito and their daughters Andrea and Carla and her man Sean! Such nice people!
It was a day of friends and fun! Thanks to so many who have made this adventure more fun!
