Day 113 @ The Wall at Lock 32 Parks Canada, Bobcaygeon, Ontario

Well, we moved about 200 yards from Gordon Yacht Marina because we were on the Fuel Dock to the Lock area. We headed to the lock where we were hoping to get a spot on the Starboard side where there is electricity!

Then we went out to find some breakfast but I got a call from Julie on Here’s an Idea! Julie said there were 4 house boats driving like idiots so I should watch out. They were just entering the lock area where we are docked. So I called Nick because he was a block away already and he came back! Lucky he did, he pushed a house boat away from our swim platform. Geese these people are nuts!

Got to the breakfast spot in time for lunch and I just love the restroom signs!

After breakfast we found Julie and Milton shopping at the shoe store! What an awesome shop for this little town!

I got my ice cream scoop at the kitchen store here and I found a sandwich spreader knife! Then it was back to the boat to relax and find Nick. He got the British Open on TV and it was a relaxing afternoon just hanging out on the boat watching Lowry, Fleetwood, Koepka, and Holmes and Rose play so well. Soon the Harbor Host stopped by with great info and a wonderful welcome! She lives in Bobcaygeon but has a store in Fenelon Falls – next lock. Then it was time to meet Julie and Milton for dinner. Walked past the shoe store again.

And past this cool plaque.

We went to The Original Just for the Halibut. We all got the burger and had a ton of laughs! Interesting how the Canadians use Clamato Juice instead of Tomato juice. How do you grow a Clamato?

Then it was back to the boat for whiskey! Great night!

Song of the day: Proud Mary by Tina and Ike Turner (Julie’s personal favorite)

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
