Day 110 @ Hastings Village Marina, Hastings, Ontario

Woke up and hit the local Farmers Market for some fresh produce! Then we headed to our first lock!

Lock 13 Campbellford

23 ft lift

Lock 14 Crowe Bay

25 ft lift

Lock 15, 16 & 17 Healey Falls Flight Locks

75.8 ft lift

We liked the blue paint on the doors!

Then I had to drive for a bit as the distance to the next lock was long! 22 miles through Seymour Lake and Burnt Point Bay past Nappan and Slaughter Islands. It was a beautiful untouched area with only a handful of fishermen and even fewer pleasure crafts.

Lock 18 Hastings

9 ft Lift

This was right next to the Hastings Village Marina where we slept for the night.

We enjoyed the cute little town!

Walking across the lock!

Too fun!

Beautiful shoreline.

We love screwing with Jean! Photo bomb!!!

Lots of fun eating ice cream and drinking beer!

Then we stumbled by chance across a classic car show!

It was great reminiscing with people who remember cars before seat belts! And how as kids we slid across the bench seats and slammed into the side.

Then a gorgeous sunset!

Great day!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
