Day 109 @ Campbellford Old Mill Docking, Campbellford, Ontario

We thought we were getting up early and people even said that but when we got up everyone was gone. There were only 2 boat aside from us left! We got into gear and made our way to the first lock of the day. First we saw Mark again – this time at his house and he was trying to hit the boat with a hockey puck. I believe he got us once.

Lock 7 Glen Ross

9.8 ft lift

Lock 8 Percy Reach

19.6 ft lift

Lock 9 Meyers

16 ft lift

Lock 10 Hague’s Reach

24 ft lift

Lock 11 & 12 Ranney Falls Flight Lock

48 ft lift

This was 2 very big locks – one that feeds into a second lock. It was pretty large and we felt tiny!

After these two locks we found a place for the night on a wall with 2 50 amps and water! Just Jillin and Honey Badger joined us. When I asked Deborah if she wanted to dock in front or behind us she said “Honey Badger don’t care!”

It was time to relax and talk to 98 year old men and cute dogs!

It was a nice night!

Tomorrow more locks!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
