Day ninety four @ Shelburne Shipyard, Shelburne, VT

Happy 6th Anniversary!

Today started with a breakfast at the Old Mill Restaurant with AnneMarie.

It had all this old stuff in it.

Then we went over to Shelburne Farms to do the 10:30 am tour.

The cows seemed very happy. The views were spectacular!

There were two other “twosomes” of women on the tour and they were each sisters. So AnneMarie and I decided to be sisters for the day. This is the Webb family farm – turned non profit when the third generation started to lose money.

Only 70% of this stuff is original.

She is a Vanderbilt that married beneath her.

He is Dr Webb that was a surgeon that married her and owned the farm.

Here is their kid.

And here are the grandkids that screwed up the farm. And the guide likes to sleep in the little boys bedroom once a year. What is that Dana?

What type of flowers are this dark red ones? Then we went to see where all the beautiful flowers were grown.

Tony the driver took that picture of us.

Next up – cheese making. Dana got mad at us for taking this photo but she was the one who said he was handsome. I thought he was too short for that title!

An old lady on the tour with us offered to take our photo with the cardboard cut out. Lmao

Here is where Dana – the ” girl from the Bronx” taught us how rocks become cheese.

Then we saw the children’s summer camp area. This is where Austin’s and Colton went to summer camp.

When I got back my new refrigerator was installed. It seems to be working but there are several scratches on the doors and the drawers don’t open too well.

Then Nick grabbed an Uber and took me to Trattoria Delia for our anniversary dinner.

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
