Day eighty nine @ Burlington Harbor Marina, Burlington, VT

We woke up to a beautiful morning! And Nick dropped the dinghy for some dinghy fun!

We noticed where they were setting up the new fuel docks.

What a view from this marina!

The water was like glass so it was really smooth!

So then we approached a restaurant called Splash. As we were tying off near the only boat there (22 ft) we were shooed away by a server and told to tie off on the other side. We got to the other side and it was right next to the ferry so we left! Not gonna do that! Luckily we found a better spot called “The Spot”! Jim Blackman (our Vermont friend) had recommended it and they were so much nicer! The food was really great too! We tried the chicken wings and the avocado fries.

Really great Spot! More views from the dinghy.

We relaxed on the boat for a while, chatted up Doug from the red Breakaway and then a storm came up on us. It was crazy! Even Doug came running back to his boat to save his windshield cover. The boat rocked so much I had to get off when it was done. So we ran some errands and shipped some stuff back home. Then grabbed dinner.

Beautiful sunset! This is our Marina.

Just spectacular!

I really don’t know what could beat this view! One thing…. the view of our great friends coming to visit us!

It’s the Martha and Frank hour!

Shenanigans part deux

Great day!

Song of the day:

Moonlighting by Al Jarreau

(This is because I was playing jazz all day!)

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
