Day eighty six @ Burlington Harbor Marina, Burlington, VT

This was a very scary day for sure! Driving the boat with no steering is crazy!

After we got up I made a delicious breakfast of eggs and ham and feta scrambled and toast. Nick didn’t want it but he needed it! Then we fueled up at Whitehall and headed out to our dock for the next few weeks.

I noticed this while we fueled. The town of Whitehall NY is the birthplace of the US Navy.

Goodbye New Whitehall Marina – I hope we meet again soon!

Not a ton of pictures today but a ton of nerve racking problems!

I’m not a boat expert but this shouldn’t happen.

I had some moments where I tried to enjoy the ride.

We started to breathe a little easier when we finished the elbow of Lake Champlain.

Just so hard to describe the beauty that is here!

I did a time lapse video of most of our ride today.

I have to say this Marina was the very best at helping us dock! 4 dockhands and they tied us perfectly – not one line or knot had to be redone! And the Manager Bob came down to meet us. Awesome guy! Turns out Bob knows a ton of people!

Docked right next to Doug from Breakaway. He was on our dock at the Marriott in Tampa a few months back.

Then some of AnneMarie and Jim’s friends came over to say hi! They have a place in Jupiter FL and up here. Bob and Dorena – really friendly people!

Then AnneMarie stopped by and I forgot to get a selfie. Which is horrible because I look so cute today. Lol. Boat hair – don’t care.

The sunset off our bow was like no other! With the mountains and the water!!! Definitely the most beautiful place I’ve ever gone boating!

I’m really happy at this marina! The people that work here are wonderful and the people that have their boat here are so friendly!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
