Today we went from Staten Island to Croton-on-Hudson. It was an amazing run!

The fog was thick, like pea soup.

Bit we got to the city and saw the famous lady!
Verrazano-Narrows Bridge connecting NYC Boroughs to Staten Island.

Then under the Narrows. It’s a double decker suspension bridge.

I love these photos from the back of the boat. Then we started to see a lot of commercial traffic.

And the City came into view…

She is such a poser! Got lots of shots!

And then we saw Ellis Island. With the fog and the mystery mixed with excitement, I felt a fraction of what an immigrant felt when arriving in NYC.
Opposite was the towering and busy town of NYC.

The City just went on and on…

The George Washington Bridge!

What an amazing journey!
Then it was the Tappan Zee Bridge.

The Hudson River was scenic and smooth.

A beautiful journey of architecture ended with nature and Mountain Views!
Then we approached our destination. Half Moon Bay Marina.

The freezer still isn’t working so we got a back up via Amazon!
Then we walked over to Enterprise and got a Dodge Journey.

It wasn’t far to Buchanan’s Hardware Store where they have everything except what I need. A thermometer reader gun. So I ordered it on Amazon.
Big beautiful building…. it’s a high school!

So then back at the Marina. Several looper in trawlers arrived and took slips on our dock! We hadn’t hung out with Milton and Julie from Here’s an idea! for a while so we went to dinner with them! The spot I found was super cute!

Then inside the elevator was fun!

This place was a marina and an huge building housing several restaurants. It was about 18 months new! Reminded me of Armature Works in Tampa!

Mom called so she got a peek at the place too!
It was a great night catching up with our Tennessee friends! So then we took it to the boats and continued the party!

We heard great stories from our new Looper friends (and Kari squared).
Quote of the day goes to Julie: I’m a connoisseur of all things under $12.
