Day seventy eight @ Farley State Marina Golden Nugget, Atlantic City, NJ

Another great day relaxing on the boat. First we gathered at the boat and enjoyed the wind and waves in the cockpit with great friends! Deb created the beautiful cheese plate and I did the silly looking sandwiches. Her cheese plate could be on the cover of a cooking magazine and my sandwich tray could be for a kindergarten class. Next up our new neighbors moved in. So after the Renee investigation online – we went over and borrowed a cup of sugar.

Then we decided to find the Golden Nugget pool deck. What a great place!!!

We definitely soaked up all the sun New Jersey had to offer!!! The pool had a definite Las Vegas feel to it but with a colder vibe because the high was only 75 today. We ordered the veggie platter but it came with no veggies. Renee was shocked and complained! The waitress, who was all of 23 years old and dressed in a Baywatch bikini, told us old folks that it was a vegetarian platter not a veggie platter. Lmao. Then the French Fry platter had nothing French in it! We returned to the boat to regroup and prepare for dinner. Steak and salad and rice and mashed potatoes. It was nice and it gave us a chance to talk and enjoy!

Quote of the day: “Can we get a llama for the boat?” And. “Do you know how big the poop is from a Great Dane?”

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
