This town’s former name was Bohemia. The name was changed when the C&D Canal was finalized. Chesapeake City was picked so that the town would be chosen for stops by commercial boaters. But that didn’t happen. It remains a small touristy vacation town. Most of the Victorian homes are now B&Bs or restaurants. Last night we tried one of the fanciest ones in town and tonight we ate like the locals and regulars with great company to teach us how!
But first – our morning was quiet and relaxing on the boat. Then we ventured to town to find postcards and other treasures.

We found a lunch spot with a view of the bridge and the ducks! If you look close over Nick shoulder you can even get a view of Aquasition.

Such an adorable restaurant! we decided to find a nice spot to read and relax.
Luckily the town is perfect for that! A stop in a gift shop!

Walking around we found some interesting stuff!
The original Tiny House / Office.
Very interesting! Shoveling dirt to make the C&D canal for only $.75 per day!

Then for dinner we met up with new friends Meagan and Brian so they could show us the ways of the Maryland Crab eating! Lol

Selfie with the fun Maryland friends!

It was great getting to know them and hearing about the wedding and honeymoon plans! But the party doesn’t stop there… I’m with Nick of course. On our way to the boat the Tiki Bar showed life…

This is where we met John and Kim from Annapolis, Virginia, Maine, Detroit, Cocoa Beach…
Prima sailboat!
Maybe you should have went with the crab cakes! Lol
