Today was a spectacular day! The trip northbound on Chesapeake Bay could not have been easier – – water was flat with little or no boat traffic! We entered Maryland leaving the state of Virginia in our rear view mirror!!! We now have traversed the East coast of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia. With only Delaware and New Jersey ahead of us – – we will soon be getting to New York!
Having Martha and Frank on board was truly a blast! There were so many funny moments – – and Frank learning to laugh at other people’s jokes – – really enlightened me as to how Frank has made significant progress in self awareness!!!!
We drove the hour and twenty minutes to get to the Ritz Carlton near DCA and met up with Deb Kerrigan. Enjoyed the cocktails there and sadly we had to say goodbye to Martha and Frank. We then took Deb to Georgetown and had a terrific meal at Ristorante Piccolo.
The drive back was only an hour and ten minutes. We are close to completing our ninth week of this journey! I gotta say – – it’s been world class so far!!!!
