Day fifty two @ Beaufort Docks Marina

This is an adorable town! Got to know so many of the locals today! Wish we could stay longer, but we have to keep on the schedule.

Everywhere we went was a historic home!

Today we sat in the park and read then we found a great coffee spot and read and talked to locals. Then we had lunch at Moonrakers Restaurant on the water and enjoyed the server talking about his interest in moving to NYC. But my favorite local was at the Dock House Bar – bartender Karen. She was a hoot! I’m going to miss the charm of this place!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
