Late last night we had another Ring alert. It was yet another cat burglar!
We hated to leave but we had to move on and leave Stuart and Palm City. We woke up early to work on finding our next spot and Nick had to return the rental car. He returned it to the wrong Enterprise but they love him there so they just said thank you! He had top status with National Rental and it transfers over to Enterprise. Once he got back Michelle was dealing with the two young kids that had jumped on her boat yesterday. Apparently it was family day at the club and two kids went to goof off and hopped on the Breakaway not knowing she was on the boat. She came out and told them not to do that then today the Dockmaster had called the parents and they returned with the kids to apologize to Michelle and Jeff. We all agreed that it’s nice to see people showing kids consequences! Then we were off. Here are views of the Harbour Ridge Yacht & CC as we departed.

Last look at Stuart and Jensen Beach.

Here is a Mom dolphin and her babies saying so long to us. There were several dolphins.
A view of Conchy Joes Restaurant from the water. Notice the Palm frond roofing.
When we neared the power plant there were many manatee zones so I impressed my friends with my vast knowledge of the manatee or “sea cow”. Also, I schooled them on the tradition of the Pineapple Festival in Jensen Beach where I once attended a Laura Brannigan concert. Laura made the songs “Gloria” and “Self Control” big hits in the 80’s. The ride was so relaxing. There were a few slow and no wake zones but it was a welcome pace. I saw a sting ray jump out of the water, flap and dive back in. It happened off the port side of the boat and it’s as if he was showing off for me. I screamed and Nick flipped out and said not to scream like that! But what could I do? It was only my second time seeing that and this was so up close! Once we docked, stern to stern on a T dock we started rinsing down the boat. The hose on the bow didn’t have a gun handle so I asked Nick for one. He gave me the one off his hose – so I had to bug him because he put back the one I tried to buy at BOW yesterday. I said to him “that handle was $2.99 and now we need one.” He said, “I’d rather have that $2.99 in my pocket.” Quote of the day!!! In the end the boat got clean. Then off to the pool to relax.

Soon it was dinner and Ronnie (Michelle’s son) and his fiancée Lauren drove from Cocoa Beach to have dinner with us. Lauren drove from Tampa and was able to bring our mail and Nicks battery pack for the drone. Did a quick FaceTime with Mom. Then dinner was at a crab shack that Michelle found online. It was spectacular! The food was so fresh and Caroline was our fabulous and friendly server!
This is Carolina bibbing Lauren!

Michelle taught Carolina (server) how to do a boomerang photo on Instagram. And she was like – I’m not on Instagram. She is 19 and not on Instagram- go figure!

The place was a total dive! It was right next to a convenience store!

It was a fabulous day and yummy night!
Cocktail of the day: Salted Carmel Whiskey with a splash of Diet Coke.
Song of the day: Laura Branigan’s “Self Control”
The Office Quote of the day: “Ryan’s technology made me drive into the lake.”
