Day nineteen @ Harbour Ridge Yacht & CC, Palm City, FL

Today we got up early and got fuel at Old Bahama Bay and headed back to Florida.

Checked the Ring today because it went off at 5:57am. It was a cat burglar.

After much discussion the past few days the group decided to go to Harbour Ridge Yacht & CC in Palm City. As we entered the US we used the Customs & Border Patrol App and it went perfectly! After doing the proper submitting the CBP did a FaceTime with us and wanted to see each persons face. Easy peasy! Then we saw some beautiful sites as we approached the Roosevelt Bridge.

Martin Memorial Hospital where Jack Ecob was born! My son! Yes, I once lived here. Palm City for a while then 1230 NW Fork Rd in Stuart. The North side of the River. We got our slip at the Harbour Ridge Y&CC and jumped in a golf cart at the recommendation of Jenny at CC.

Then there was an incident.

Kinda got lost. Soon enough we figured out where to go. Found the pool, tennis and fitness center… and spa.

This is the front of the clubhouse. The entire building could not fit in this photo.

After goofing off we hit the bar for happy hour and met new friends! Also, the bartender had our burgee waiting for us.

This is Chris the bartender! He makes them strong!

This is Jay from Orchard Lake CC in West Bloomfield, MI. He also has a home in Petosky, MI that we will visit in July! The view from the fire pit near the bar. Hey that’s the Aquasition!

They really do things right here!

Just well positioned landscape at every turn.

Dinner – fresh catch of the day.

The next few photos are of the ladies locker room. They just don’t do it justice!

Free M&Ms.

As we are walking out to head back we hear wonderful voices up the stairs. It’s the Clubs Choral singers!

Simply a wonderful spot!

We decided to stay an extra night in order to play one of the two 18 hole tracks. One is a Pete Dye designed course!

Cocktail: Dirty Martini

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
