Day 19 CNB

Ok. Captain Nick’s Blog!

I haven’t posted in a while, however, today requires a post! The crossing from West End to Stuart was easy Peezy, 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 footers, but with winds out of the east, we never smacked the bow!!

Upon arriving in Stuart, we went to the Harbour Ridge yacht club. This place is absolutely amazing. They actually Went to the trouble of getting the Clearwater Yacht Club Burgees and displaying them at the bar awaiting our arrival at happy hour! The folks here at Harbour Ridge yacht club are amazingly friendly. They gave us a golf cart to tool around and appreciate the entire facility that was available to us. We originally planned to stay here only one night, but it appears that we will be able to stay an additional evening in order to play golf tomorrow on a Pete Dye designed golf course

The locker room facilities are world class!!

Whenever you see free M&M’s is in a men’s locker room you know that it is a world class environment!

After a phenomenal happy hour and dinner we stopped on our way back to the boat to listen to the Harbor Ridge yacht club choir!

As many of you know, we have had some amazing yacht karaoke on boats named the Aquasition! Tonight’s rendition of songs from the 1960s musical Hair was amazing!

Teri is a retired CFO and Nick is a partner in a private equity firm. We are both very irrelevant in the business worlds. We jumped up to a 52 foot boat because we were in need of more adventure. We are on the Great Loop around the East Coast of North America. It's been a wild ride!
