The day started early with a 7:30am fuel dock fill up for Aquasition. Jeff was greatly appreciated when he woke early just to help me with the lines. I was concerned because they were done by the dockhand so strangely. Just a note Miami Beach Yacht Club fuel dock does not have fenders and our 12 in fenders were useless because of their set up. We said goodbye to Miami Beach and headed to The Bahamas.

I was initially concerned about the crossing but the Gulf Stream wasn’t bad, the chop was minimal and we saw so many other boats including the Sea Aquarium Big Boat! Also saw a USCG in the distance. When we reached Bahamian waters we knew right away – turquoise and clear!

It was about 43 nm doing about 20 kn we too about 2 hours and 30 mins. Once we got tied off Rodney came by to wash the boat for $100 and he did a great job! Then we took the dinghy to the other side of the island just off a beach where Rendezvous was waiting with the whole crew. The Breakaway also took their dinghy and we played in the water all afternoon!

Captain Nick navigating the turquoise seas of Bimini Island!

Once we caught up with the others there was a lot of shenanigans! Including some unsolicited karaoke!

Mr Steve Golby

The beach on Bimini Island. We couldn’t go ashore because it was being closed for a wedding.
Got some great shots on the way home while in the dinghy.

Then Jeff and Nick went in together on a golf cart for four. We took it all over the Island (maybe 8 blocks). Lol.

Nick loves the back…

I found a free boat.

These people drive on the wrong side of the road!
When we got back to the docks we worked at dinner together tonight and it turned out great!
Pic of our dock.

Pic of dinner on the Aquasition! So much room! Too much food! And interestingly the outside was noisy and loud with music but inside dinner was quiet and calm! Nice!

Surf and turf! Rick Marx got a local to sell us some lobster and I already had steak kabobs. Plus… I made rice in the instapot! Michelle made the lobster in her instapot and it was amazing! Thanks Michelle!
After we enjoyed the sunset and hit up the casino! MSU plays Texas Tech in the Final 4 tonight!

Looking forward to more fun on the dinghy and golf cart tomorrow!!!
Love the water here!
Cocktail: sea breeze (cranberry oj and vodka)!
Joke: Why can’t 2 elephants go swimming at the same time? One set of trunks.
