Gasparilla Daze

After surviving several years of party town Gasparilla – 2019 was a slow one!  We all agreed that the weather kept people away but I also noticed that the weather kept people from dressing up!  My friend Debra came in from Washington DC to experience what we all have been telling her is a party weekend.  It was a lot of fun because we had the friends around us that know how to enjoy!  However, it really wasn’t the best we’ve seen where people are everywhere and crowds are singing and dancing in the streets.  Everyone is dressed to the tilt including dogs!  This year it seemed to be about staying warm.  We still enjoyed our time at the Marriott and the service and food was wonderful!  They have a newly renovated Starbucks with it’s own area in the front of the lobby.  We also enjoyed Yacht Karaoke on our boat!  We had Vince, G, Me, Nick, Martha, Frank and Deb.  Got a random passerby walking with his guitar to play along for a while but that was it.  Not like years past when a group of youngsters came down on the boat then wouldn’t leave….  lol  Well – until next year!
